I am still on 4. Had problems with 5-7 and ended up having to roll back every time. Probably wont upgrade for a LONG time unless I am forced to.

I always have problems when Firefox upgrades. They last a couple of days, and they resolve themselves, so I'm guessing it's really a problem with one or more of my plug-ins.

I have been using FF for a very long time, and have always just updated as suggested by FF.
Never had *problems*, so if there were on some machines, what *problems* were they ?

What I can not understand whay it says : *Apply Update* -- You are currently on the release update channel.

Anybody knows or has any idea what that is all about ?

If you click on *Apply Update* nothing happens ...

And yes, I agree, some of the plugs ins I had do not work with the newer versions.

I had one that would check automatically every few minutes or so if I had a new e-mail message on two accounts I had.
Now I can not find that plug in or extension any more. Any body knows which one that was ???
You had to fill in which e-mail accounts you had, and add the pass words, then it would notify you.

Would be helpful to know which email provider...

This?

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...gmail-checker/

Searching with the FF add-on manager it shows 61 different email checkers/managers...

E-mail via Yahoo mail.

I checked most of them, and none of them will do multiple accounts, as far as I have seen, and very few will tell you beforehand if it can do multiple accounts.

Not a *real* problem tho, since the second account is my *junk* account.

What line did you enter to get 61 answers ?
Link please ?
TIA

All I remember is that it came as *an offer* (without me having to look for one) at one time. I installed it, worked fine, until FF upgraded, then it went somewhere on vacation I guess, and never came back ...
