My minimized browsers are along the bottom of my screen. When a new Hotmail message arrives, I see the "1" down below. I go to Hotmail and there is a lateral yellow message telling me I need to login again, though I had just logged in not long ago.
Instead, I click on the delete box, then the message in the inbox shows up and I read it.
What is causing this compatibility issue between Chrome and Hotmail, besides the fact that Google and Microsoft would love to put each other out of business.

Thanks.

Same thing with IE.
It must be because I went back to Hotmail from Outlook.

Actually it is not a re-login message. It says I need to click on the inbox to refresh, but it is happening on every new message.

The problem is not all the time, but intermittent and it does this at least once per day, as messages arrive to my mail box.

I use both Google Chrome and Hotmail all the time...everyday in fact. I rarely, if ever, have any such problems.

Same here. I don't recall doing anything to get them to work together once I switched to Chrome.

I had to click on the delete box, for the new message to this thread, was able to be seen.
I do have Chrome and IE opened at the same time.
It does not do this, when I am using FF or IE. IE will lock up after awhile and "windows live" will have to close the window or reload.
I use Malwarebytes once a week and MSE 24/7, so I would guess malware, or other, is not involved in this problem.

Hotmail locks up with IE after a few hours or less.
The new version of Hotmail which is Outlook, gives this intermittent requirement to click on the delete box or other mail box to see the new messages in the inbox. And this event is with Chrome. So, it's Outlook and Chrome, not Hotmail and Chrome.
