Not having used Linux in a long while, one thing I'm very impressed with is the new set of Linux fonts. One of the first things I used to do immediately after a Linux install was to set it up to use the fonts already on my Windows machines (since most of my Linux installs have been dual/multi-boots with Windows), as I hated the default Linux fonts. Yet now I see that at least Xubuntu uses the Liberation fonts as its default fonts. I'm very impressed with their apperance, particularly of the Sans, which I actually prefer to Arial, although pages still look funny rendered in them (including this one). The watermarks in my recent pictures (which were added using the GIMP in Windows) also make exclusive use of Liberation Sans Bold with a Liberation Mono copyright or public domain notice under it. What do you do when you install Linux? Do you have it use the Windows fonts, or stay with the default fonts?
