I use Google Chrome, and here lately it has been crashing. What causes this?

Cindiana, presumably you are a novice user and enjoy sharing as little info about your problem as possible to make it even more frustrating for us but would you be kind enough to share some system info?

1. What is your Operating System / service packs version?
2. What version is Chrome ?
3. Does the problem occur at random sites or only when you visit certain sites?
4. What are you doing when the problem occurs?
5. Are there any error messages? What happens exactly?
6. Have you tried another browser (IE/FF) to see if the problem still occurred?
7. How long have you had this problem and what did you install to your system/browser right before this issue started?

I think at a very basic approach, doing what Charles recommended (deleting browser cache or disabling add-ons) typically does the trick.

OK Turco you are right, I am a novice. Sorry about the lack of info. I restarted my computer, and now it is running just fine.
Thanks to you and Charles for your advice. I will remember to give more info in the future.
