I'm sick of Adobe Reader. It takes forever to open a pdf and every other time I try to open one from a website it crashes my Firefox. Is anyone using a better (free) program that works in Firefox?

I like Foxit PDF reader. It's much faster than Adobe Acrobat. And it doesn't crash Firefox either. (At least it hasn't for me)

Foxit Software

You know...FF use to crash with adobe with me but not the newer versions.

What version of FF are you running? FF is on version 2.0.0.9 now. Have you updated it? Are you also running the newest version of adobe? Liz

I have Firefox 2.0.0.9 and Adobe Reader 7.0. I know there's a newer version of Adobe but when I tried to update it the update had an error and I never got around to trying it again.

Ronzou, thanks for the Foxit suggestion. I just downloaded it (I had to get it from download.com as it's no longer free on the Foxit site) and am trying it out. It's much faster than Adobe so I like it already.
