Acrobat Reader is turning all my jpg files into pdf files

#1 Your JPG files are associated with Acrobat reader.
In this case right-click on a JPG file and select open with->choose default program.
In that list you select Windows picture viewer. Flag: Always use this program for selected filetype.
#2 Your JPG files are converted to PDF files for some reason.
In that case things are worse. Download the open-source program PDFcreator. It ships with a explorer enabled PDF to JPG converter. Watch out to not install things you don't want during installation. To be sure you can also do it without software, [url=http://online-pdf.org]Online PDF converter | Online PDF[/url] as example, but that would probably take more time.
