Sale ends Nov 21! I'd grab one if you're planning to do a computer build. You have to buy it in store though.

It looks like they have very few locations.

I have never heard of them before, so I checked the website.

I've been looking for an upgrade, thanks for the heads up. It'll fit my mobo too, which is nice.

Great company to buy from if they are in your area.

They always have really good CPU prices, but only in store.

I always try to plan CPU upgrades around traveling through Atlanta to take advantage of their pricing.

I bought 1 after Chicago tax it's $218.49 I plan to give my old i7 920 PC to my 2nd cousin in the Phillippines, so now over the next 3 to 4 months I'll be building a new desktop for me with this CPU. These are my 2 mb choices:

Single v.c.
ECS Z77H2-A3(1.2) LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com
ECS Web Site > Z77H2-A3 (V1.2)

SLI
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com

I'll wait until the Geforce 880 comes out to get a v.c. My current i7 2600K desktop[ is only PCI-E 2.0, so this cpu and a PCI-E 3.0 mb would be a modest upgrade.

That is a good deal for a 4770k. Of course, with the way things go, all of the major sites/retailers will have that price soon. I'm fortunate to have a Microcenter near me, but I also have a CompUSA/TigerDirect brick and mortar near me in Delaware and that means no sales tax. One nice thing about Microcenter though is that in the store they will price match ANYONE, even Newegg, whether it's an online price, sale price, coupon, etc. They also make it very convenient to shop as you can set the online shopping cart as if you were at your local store with real time inventory. You load up your cart and when you process the transaction they pick your order and have it waiting for you. Just go in with documentation when you pick up the order and they will price match everything on the spot.

Those boards have the wrong socket on them. You'll need to look at Z87 boards, not Z77.

Good catch. Ivy Bridges (ix-3xxx chips) are LGA1155 and run on the x7x series motherboards. Haswell (ix-4xxx) are LGA1150 and run on the x8x series motherboards..
