I use Mozilla Thunderbird and it won't recognize my password. Could I have been hacked by the Ruskies?
What an I do to check my mail?

Have you checked with your email provider? If your password isn't working, there's nothing anyone here can say or do that will help.

Use the web interface to make sure your password is working. Then double check the Thunderbird settings.

TB stores your password for your e-mail provider in a file. On a Mac it is under TB's Preferences pull-down>Security>Passwords>Saved Passwords. You can look there to see if it is correct.

If it is "correct" there, then you need to go thru your providers "I forgot my password" process.

On a Windoze PC, YMMV
