I have IE, Firefox, Comodo Dragon (Chrome based), and right now checking out new Opera (chrome based) and Maxthon (hybrid Chrome/IE).

My primary is FF. I will only be keeping one of the last two though. Here's what I read recently about them:

On Windows: Chrome, Firefox and IE.

On Mac: Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Those are in descending order, based on how well they work for me and how often I use them.

I use GChrome for gmail, maps, and calendar - all google based, auto-login, nothing else.

I use IExplorer for static info apps like TitanTV, WeatherUnderground, IMDb, Facebook, Dictionary - things that are just going to sit there with little change. Mostly a reference tool of my own design. It does contain an 'alternate' gmail ID for GWallet, and GPlay apps. I do NOT associate my active gmail with my smartphone.

I use FireFox for anything browsing, surfing, https - my active constant use, with StartPage HTTPS search engine

So I keep them all open but minimized, excepting when in use.

Of the three, the best is FireFox - by an undiscussible far

IE for debugging javascript, chrome for everything else. Multiple profiles on chrome so I don't have to log out of my google accounts if I need something from another one.

Looks like they switched sometime in July 2013 with Opera 15.

Right now their stable is Opera 25.

Google Chrome is my main browser, best browser I've used, and the add-ons I have make it even better.

Firefox is my secondary browser. I can't stand the new look they gave it at all and don't use it all that much any more. I remember hearing somewhere you can change it back but I haven't really used it much for over a year. I installed it on my new laptop I got 3 months or so ago, but haven't used it more than maybe once or twice.

IE -- Came preinstalled. Despite all the hate for the browser I have found it remarkably good at one thing....downloading other browsers!

Thank you. Kind of funny how other browsers would add features first introduced on Opera, but now Opera gives up and adopts one of them as its base.
