Hi everyone, I purchased a new monitor today and my system is STILL recognizing my old Monitor. In essence, it still believes I have the old monitor plugged in as well. I go into device manager and uninstall the old monitor but it eventually comes back again. However, when I plug the monitor into the motherboard instead of my graphics card, it's normal...thank you.
here's a screenshot.

Does the computer allow you to right click and delete that monitor in control panel? Also check for monitor software added while in control panel .
