Brand new 2012 Mac Mini associated needs/upgrades?

Yosemite works great on my early 2011 MacBook Pro with 8 GB of memory. I'm sure it will work fine on your Minii.

If you click the Apple symbol at the top left of screen, then select "About this MAC". Then go to the storage tab.

Do you see that the hard drive is 1TB or is it 1.12 TB?

The reason I ask about the drive size is that it's possible you have a fusion drive, http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202574

With that, you get two physical drives (one solid state and one spinning disc).
