Disable Windows' Annoying Adaptive Brightness Feature on Your Laptop

Issue: The screen brightness changes/adjusts on its own. I prefer stable screen brightness.

My computer: Window 7 Ultimate

Attached: I did not find the related setting.

Thank you very much!

Not sure what kind of computer you have, but try this:
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Noteboo...y/td-p/1888063

Or try this:
go to Power Options > Change Plan Settings> Change Advanced Power Settings > Display> Enable adaptive brightness and turn off the options for battery and plugged on. Don't forget to click on "Apply"
If your screen still seems possessed, check your display driver for a power saving setting. On Intel cards for example, turn off "display power saving technology".

Can you disable the Ambient Light Sensor through BIOS settings?

Press F2 to go to BIOS

Use the <Down Arrow> key to highlight Video, then press <Right Arrow> to expand the menu.

Press <Down Arrow> to highlight Ambient Light Sensor, then press <Enter>.

Press <Right Arrow> to select Off , then press <Enter>.

Press <F10> to Save and Exit.

When prompted to Save changes and Exit now, press <Enter>.

Your computer now restarts.

Hope it helps!

---------------

Nothing can be expended from Video, no matter Right Arrow or not. Maybe the procedures do not apply to my computer.

Thanks.

I used camera to take the screen, and just wanna show you that no such setting there.

There must be a way to modify the setting, but I just don't know where.
