hi guys this is weird, front door wifi cam was acting weird, didn't use it for a long time but always left it on, then today connected to it via wifi, no picture, restarted it then able to get picture for 2,3 min then went out again, then pc won't connect online at all, restarted router didn't work, had to restart pc then it was working, that was weird it never happen before, and 2nd cam was fine. (if people are messing around with my wifi cam they can only see the feed? can they also gain access to your pc/network etc?!)

I have high suspicion of neighbor kids. Before when I had wifi on, sometimes I won't be able to connect to internet at all, just all of a sudden it just won't connect, and before that it was all fine. then after I reboot router it's fine again. also for awhile I turned off wifi and the problem didn't happen at all!!! several instances it happened during the time that the kids are normally at home.

thanks for the help guys

I think if anyone was hacking into your network they would do more nefarious things, like change your router password.
You router does not have the default password, right?

no I changed to another password, but left the log in the same, dlink something. I guess I should change it.

so it doesn't sound like someone messing around with the wifi/network? maybe router is just old?

actually I had some neighbor kids messed up my landscape and I took the cam video to their parents, so maybe they are doing their revenge not sure. actually one time....well I set up my cam to record only when detected motion, one time I left at 8am and 8:01 it changed to auto record all. and only happened once.

another question does nod32's 32bit version work in windows 7 64 bit version?

thanks for the help, I will check the wifi status see what/who devices are connected. glasswire pro that's not free right? it can notify you when people connects to your wifi.

As long as you changed the password, don't worry about the username.

I don't know what nod32 is, but the basis of your question: will 32 bit software work on 64 bit windows? Yes.

Some wifi cameras connect to a website link so their video can be seen globally. If your camera works this way, you will need to go into settings and see if the channel can be changed plus change the associated password to something not normally used.
