I use Hotmail/Outlook and I just can't permanently delete the emails. I can't disable the Recover Deleted Items options. I've looked for answers and it seems that I could have disabled this option years ago but now they have gotten rid of that option.

In the most simple way how can I permanently delete emails? Or is that option gone now?

I don't think it's possible anymore. Did you tried this?

Last time I used Hotmail was 15+ years ago, because it sucks...

Are you using a client like Thunderbird to access them or using the web interface?

Is that you, Hillary? Still trying to delete your emails?

I know, a useless post. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I just purged my deleted emails, and now it says there is nothing there. I guess you'd have to purge every day to keep them gone.

I used hotmail for years but since they eliminated their junk filter, I am inundated with evil crap. I am slowly changing over to another provider but still have hotmail account. I just change email account to new one but there are some I forgot about. How do you delete your hotmail account? I quit using yahoo for the same reason but can’t delete it either. Any hints?

Just so you know, there's way to create an existing of an email even when it doesn't exist in the first place.

Would you please post this in an unencrypted format?

Thank you.
