I'm a very tech savvy person, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to resize a screen when I open Word or a PDF. For instance, I open a PDF I've created, or someone else has and it opens at 130 percent. I want it to open at 75 percent whenver I open PDF, Word doc. etc.
Another question. When I create a PDF or Word doc. Do the settings I've created it under, such as the 130 percent when it opens, does it open in the recipient's desktop at 130 percent?
I feel sooo stupid asking these questions but it's something I have never been able to find out from others in the office.

In Word ... this will vary some from version to version ... but go to the View menu and pull down Zoom... you can select from there.
Also on the toolbar there may be a little pull-down box that says "100%" or some other number. Go to that, click on it, and it'll offer you a number of options.
Adobe Reader and OpenOffice have tools that work much the same way.
EDIT: With Adobe Reader, going to Edit menu --> Preferences ... you can select a bunch of settings there; Full Screen or Zoom may be the one you want.

I wouldn't be a 100% sure, but I'd say the recipient would see the file according to his own settings, with the exception of font size, type and so forth.

I think the OP is looking for a setting that can be made to force Word, etc to open with the same view (percent) every time. My version of Word always opens with document width and I can't find any place to make it do otherwise.
