It's more than two years old and it stopped printing. Everything that 'prints' comes out blank.

What should I do to fix the problem?

Do you have the cartridges swapped ? tricolor where black should be ? black where tricolor should be ? Or Wally World has them for about 40 bucks.... just check and see if it has the cables USB and the power cable. And at least the black cartridge... shop around the cables are $$$$

Computers lie about this sometimes.

Run your maintenance protocols using the printer menu. Maybe something is clogged.

Lexmark ink cartridges have a tendency to dry up, that could be the issue as well.

Run the cleaning protocol. The heads think there is ink, but nothing is coming out. Also see if there is a page test directly from the printer. Printers are not economical to repair. Replace it with a HP or a canon if its an Inkjet. If its a laser then go to a Brother. Staples usually has the best prices (and return policy).
