Hallo
is there anybody outside who has experience with CASIO cash registers?
IÃ m Peter and living in Curacao, have bought the PCR T470 cash register from CASIO for our new shop, but the Users Manuel is a disaster.

Have you tried Casio support or the place you bought it from?

Not sure what "disaster" means. Is it in English or Spanish?
Here is the download page which contains both as well as French.

Thanks for the replies.
Well, before Casio support answer a question, they want a credit card number. That seems modern robber barons. Instead of writing a Users Manual for Users and not for programmers, they take advantage of the own bad manual.
The dealer, where I have bought it from, deals with TVs, Audio and so on. I don`t trust very much in it. But will go next week to ask for somebody.

Disaster means, that the User Manual is not for Users, it is for programmers. I have it English and Spanish. I`am used to program in different languages, but the Manual explains absolutaly nothing. It gives the code, but no infos, how to use it.
Furthermore I`am missing a lot of details. For example:
the Manual says....
"Before using the currency exchange function, it is necessary to program the conversion rate"
But than in all over the Users Manual there is no reference how to change the conversion rate. And it goes on like this.......
I`am sure that I`am not the only one with the same problem. I have found some old cries of help concerning CASIO cash registers, but almost without solutions.
best regards
Peter

I just received the PCR-T470 cash register from a friend who owns a pawn shop. I am trying to program this register, but when I do the code E0008 comes up and it says sign in. So what do I do. Please help.

Wow, now there are all these people coming out of the woodwork with PCR-T470 registers??
Sounds like it's a fairly fancy register with point of sale functionality, setting one up likely requires experience. You're going to need to find someone local who knows these, whatever help you can find online will be seriously limited.

I looked at the download manual for quick setup. I don't think anyone can explain that any clearer than the step by step manual. It would a take pages just as manual does and be hard to explain without illustrations. You need someone else to do it is my suggestion that understands instructions.

Second receipt?
I can't figure out how to print a second receipt? Is there anyone in Minnesota who programs these and won't cost me an arm and a leg?
