Hi

I'm considering buying a high capacity external battery to charge my devices on the go and to reduce amount of chargers necessary .

Will it be possible for a battery to charge itself while powering up a notebook or at least conduct the power to he notebook.I have this battery in mind: ENERGIZER "Victor" XP18000.

I would appreciate any help.

I think he wants to know if the battery will charge while the laptop is plugged in.

Answer = yes. powerman, but the battery isn't running the laptop while being charged. Rather, the laptop is running off the wall plug and the battery is being charged for later use.

Simple answer, yes you can plug your laptop it and use it and the battery will continue to charge.

Ahhh, that would make sense. At some point the battery will still be dead though, as the the battery likely will be discharging faster then it's charging.

Thx, I was asking because the AC Adapter of the laptop itself is different than the adapter that charges the Battery...
I wasn't sure whether the power supplied by the Battery adapter will be sufficient to power up a powerful notebook

If the battery can supply the voltage and amperage that the laptop requires it will work, as all laptops are different there's no way we can say.

What happens if the amperage of the battery or of the AC adapter of the battery is lower than the Laptop requirement ?

Is it safe to try it out?

best case the laptop battery won't charge properly, worst case you'll damage your new external battery.
