I Broke my iPod Nano... It had a cover on it and I held it by the cover and it slipped out and fell onto the hard floor from waist level. Tried plugging it in and pressing the middle down but it would not resurrect. This was my souvenir from Nashville, TN where I bought the Special Edition 8GB Red Model for $249. Ouch... just lost $249

So electronic stuff breaks when you drop it! Same thing happened with my $159 Casio Digital Camera - wouldn't take photos after I dropped it!

Can my iPod be repaired for cheap or I just gotta buy a new one?

Do yourself a favor and just get a simple MP3 player. More versatile, more memory per dollar, plays WMA, and interfaces with any PC any time.

I need another iPod Nano because my car radio interfaces with an iPod for music too.

Is it just a wire that connects from the Ipod to an input in the car stereo amp?

I see. It looks like you can operate the Ipod from the Aline head unit.

Back to your problem, try searching all craigslists at once. Someone out there may sell one and they are cheap to ship.
