Windows 10 is getting a massive update - Nov. 12, 2015

I am NOT a happy camper with my Win 10, lot's of annoyances. Let's hope it will fix this.

Has anyone downloaded and installed the service pack yet? I read up on the improvements. Nothing that really made me excited about moving solely to 10.

How do you tell if you got the update? I just checked for updates manually and it says my computer is up to date.

It's automatic updates, you can't escape em.

Yes, but that doesn't answer my question. How would I even know they released the update to my computer. There must be a way to check the version number or something.

Lol, I think you are being unreasonable in expecting an operating system by Microsoft to actually work. Lol

I was unable to find upgrade history that existed in Win 7.

While I was looking I fixed 2 issues.

When I go to Settings/System/About.
There you will see Version which should read 1511.

1511 is the version number to the last week's update.

Start > type "Windows Update" > select "Advanced Windows Update Options" > Select "View Your Update History"
