Thanks. This hasn't been *too bad*, I've been in worse. Lots of water, and pace goes a long way. I've just grown very sensitive to heat over the years working in it. I can sweat on command and literally have sweat running off of me with very little effort these days.

I just checked the NWS in Raleigh...holy cow, you guys have been getting hammered down there. Seems like it's been 90* before 10am with peaks in the high 90's for almost a week! Yikes!

Wow, I didn't realize all these were posted. I'm new to the site and don't know how to quote excerpts from other's posts, but to whomever asked how far I was from Kill Devil Hills, I am 45 minutes away.

I MORE than appreciate everyone's input. It has been so helpful. It seems as if Ct isn't going to be the career move for me, I suppose. It's unfortunate- I was looking forward to something different and being close to the city. But I didn't waste all this money on an education to not be able to find a job- so the search must continue. The whole "we don't want english teachers" thing is going around here, too- so I've recently been looking at grad schools as well as jobs. Fun, fun. Ha!

Thanks again!!
