I agree with Mike. The crime is minimal and I would say most of what keeps Farmington cops busy is the WestFarms mall with petty theft. Avoid Route 4 at all costs. I lived on the east farms side so I rarely had to go down that way. Rent.com is a good site to get an idea of what is available and how much. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in an apartment. farmington is a great town and close to everything. It has some great places to eat and drink and West hartford and Hartford are the next towns over which offer a lot more for fine dining and drinking.

The town refuses to accept any plans that ConnDOT has proposed to improve Route 4 so now they seem to have just given up. Jay
