Liberal gym goers???...well that makes as much sense as this list did. Ridiculous!

I have said this before...those lists are not to be believed. I think there is money under the table to get on them! And once a town/city makes it, it mysteriously disappears the following year...

No one really refers to Bridgeport as a town, for example, even though it technically is a town.
Not true. Each municipality in Connecticut is either a town or a city. Hartford is a city as in "City of Hartford". No where is it legally called a town. Jay

Well howcome there are signs that say "Hartford Town Line" when entering the city? For example, when heading eastbound on Rt. 44. I have seen this occur with other cities in CT as well, the town line signs instead of saying "city line."

Same with all cities in Connecticut. (Waterbury said "town" going west on I-84 until last year). Are u the person from england? If so, we don't use the 250,000 rule overhere. In the U.S., most states designate towns or cities depending on population density.

As you can see, the U.S. Census Bureau classified all CT municipalities as "towns":

yeah right this is the primary reason that better neighborhoods do not want public transporation and other amenities making it easy for the poor to get to them. then again if there is a will there is a way ...
