I am interested in any information I can get on TP's in Shelton, Milford or Danbury. The most important thing I need is for the park to allow pets and not have a million rules and regulations like a condo.

IF anyone lives in one, works in one or knows about any I would really appreciate any info.

Thanks
Chris

There is one off Kenosia Ave. in Danbury, which apparently has lots of flooding issues.

Default Jensen Park

That is Jensen Park which is a 55+ park. It is really nice with a clubhouse and pool and the lots are bigger than most. Only small dogs and only 1 allowed.

I believe that most of the nicer trailer communities have rules like a condo to keep things up to certain standards. The ones in Shelton and Milford that I know do. Jay

Jay, is the one in Milford the new Ryder Park that was on RT1 then relocated and renamed Ryder Estates? Where is that place now?

Yes, but it is now called Ryder Woods. It is located between I-95, Metro North Railroad, Quarry Street and Marsh Hill Road. Jay

Jay,

I noticed there are a number of units in Ryder Woods for sale. Do you know if they accept pets?

There is a trailer park in Westport, which is one of the nicest towns in Connecticut.

There was a recent story about it on the local blog:

Okay ....yeah it may seem nice in rider woods but if you are not 65 or older you will be harassed about every aspect of your life. Yes you can have animals but they will stay up your butt about them. If the committee doesn't like you ( several people here feel ot is due to younger age) they will try to send you warnings, evict you, harass you about a hole on your trailer that the old peoples stratcat makes, Everythibg.yes, I know it is a trailer park. Yes , they want to keep it nice. But even if your yard/home is nice, they will start to nit pic meanwhile while you get billed for your grass being a cm too long, the co mitteeisso protected that the maintenance director expanded his yard so deep Into Protected wildlife filled woods , and uses them as his personal dumping ground. Come on these people need to stop pretending they are in some old people condos where they rule like it's their own private country and start realizing it is a Trailor park. Oh, you can only be "voted" onto their board if you pay so if you expect not to get harassed for your children or dog "trespassing" (seriously?) on others yards, lighting sparklers, or even walking Into the woods
