Hey there!
I am currently living in NC with my partner and we are moving to CT this coming winter. He will be starting a Grad program in Middletown which we are excited for! Anywho I am not so familar with what is in the area of Middletown and where to look as far as jobs. I know the usual suspects career builder, monster, craigslist but anything else more local and direct? Who is good to work for what are the great companies in the area. I have a two degrees myself and currently work for a media firm and train people with computers. I also freelance graphic design stuff. I am willing to branch I just want to see what is out there. Thanks guys!

We moved here a couple of weeks ago for my husband's job so I'm in a similar situation. Good luck! So far, Indeed is a website that has been helpful. It looks at all the major online job sites and compiles the listings in one place. I'm looking for a higher ed job so I've also been searching all the university websites and applying to things I'm qualified for when they come up. If you and your partner are living in Middletown and you want to go into computer stuff, you can stop into the IT department and talk to my husband Jeff Best wishes!

It's a really tough job market out there so be happy if you get managers contacting you. Indeed.com is a great site. be vague with your searches and see what comes up and start applying. I'd also recommend networking with a recruiter or two, that is how I got my new job.
