Need to split a piece and measure moisture on the open face of the fresh split.....20% or less

I know the post was from June but figure I reply now. Yeah, tree companies get charged to dump wood the refuse centers, that's why they prefer to dump wood at someones house for free.

I been having a problem with tree guys dumping here without telling me! Couple times it was rotted stuff. Now I have to block the area. It's like they see an area of Logs and wood and they think it's a dumping ground!

I caught one on camera. No idea who it is. I usually have 4 guys I know that drop off but they ask me first! I been so busy that I have logs from last year still sitting there.

And this rain is killing me from doing outside stuff!

Lol. Yup.

Indoor temp past couple days: The console is in the Dining Room on main level.

Only had stove on for an hour yesterday. Should of loaded it up last night. lol. Sunday was 1st light so didn't expect temps to drop like that inside.

4th light of the season coming today. Usually doesn't happen till November. #WhatHappenedTo60sAndSunOutside?

Wood stoves outside wilderness type areas should really be illegal with the amount of pollution they produce. A TON of carcinogens are produced by burning wood. People don't realize how toxic it is. It's also a waste of trees.

This is true. A big problem in Vermont. Especially these guys who have outside wood boilers. They will burn everything and anything.

A lot of people in my neighbourhood have wood stoves. It doesn't have the highest income levels, so its pretty much you standard lower middle class neighbourhood. A big problem was that the houses were built in the 1950s with underground oil tanks. They didn't have the money to dig them out and fix them, so instead they ripped out the oil heater and put in a wood stove.

Can't really fault people for that, to be honest.
