Equinox has opened a new super-duper gym near the station and I am thinking I can save tons of commute and merciless evening driving time if I park there, work out early in the am and then hit the train. It would be so freaking easy.
The Horseneck parking lot, immediately to the right of the train station, is always full early. However, the huge parking lot right behind the station--across the street from the ferry--is rarely full. The only times you'll find trouble getting a space after 8:00 AM on weekdays is when there are events being held at the Arch Street park, the Delamar, or the Bruce Museum. Thankfully weekday events are rare. You'll have a harder time finding parking on weekends because of events and visitors taking the ferry to Island Beach. The only reason most people don't choose to park there is because they have to walk an extra 5 minutes up to the station. Laziness at its finest.

Exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Thanks!
