know what cracks me up is the Red Soxs or the Racist Soxs were the last team to have black ball players. Remember up to 15 years ago they only carried 2 on a team. Mo Vaughn's father was quit upset in the early 90's at Norwalk Rotary about him playing up there (old man was principal of Brian McMahon High School). Border States as St. Louis and K.C. Athletics had blacks before them. You go to lunch down south in Atlanta, Charlotte, Richmond you see intergrated tables; just like CT (joke). The south threw Jim Crow out the window we kept our fake garbage.

Watch your history blacks fought for that flag. SC had a full regiment of slave owning blacks. The Secretary of State; Judah Benjamin, was a Jew and so were most of the bankers that financed the war.

From my experience, it has more to do with Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Bros. than any real knowledge or understanding of history. These are folks who like to imagine themselves as rebels. The political opinions are limited to the short blurbs they caught before sneaking off to the boy's room for a smoke. They make a big fuss about their rights to bear arms but probably never read the constitution much less understood it. In fact I've know quite a few of these "rebels" who gladly take public assistance so I'm sure they can't be Tea Party affiliated.
I've never seen one on any vehicle but a beat-up pickup truck or hanging from the second story window of some run down rental.
