I am aware from reading other posts that traffic is pretty bad going south in the morning and north in the evening, but what about those that live in NY and work in Connecticut. What is the traffic like going north in the morning and south in the evening? Are there a lot of New Yorkers that commute to Connecticut for employment?

I doubt you'd run into much traffic doing the reverse commute. The reverse commute from NY to NJ isn't bad at all.

Getting into Stamford in the morning on I-95 northbound is not great anymore. More and more people discovered this commute a number of years ago and it has gotten steadily worse. I have seen backups of a mile or more in the AM now. Not nearly as bad as coming into the city on I-95, but not as easy as it use to be. Jay
