Heads up- the southbound lanes will shut on 9/27 at 8 pm and reopen on 9/30 at 5 am. I read it on the electronic signs in Glastonbury while sitting in the usual traffic crawl on Route 2 this morning.

FYI: Southbound is heading out of Glastonbury towards Wethersfield.

Yeah, I had heard they were doing this. I guess this means you either need to go up to the Charter Oak in East Hartford or take the Arrigonni in Middletown. And of course there is always the Glastonbury/Rocky Hill Ferry. I will probably just stay home. Jay
