Oh wait, this isn't the beer thread. (Beer thread anyone?)

Windham County, CT

Tonight...Cloudy. A chance of snow after midnight. Cold with lows around 7 above. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Tuesday...Snow. Snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Cold with highs in the mid 20s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.

Tuesday Night...Snow likely with a chance of sleet in the evening...then snow and sleet after midnight. Additional snow and sleet accumulation around an inch. Not as cool. Near steady temperature in the lower 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Wednesday...Sleet...rain...freezing rain and snow. Highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Wednesday Night...Snow...sleet and freezing rain likely. Lows around 14. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
Considering the ugliness shown in the quoted section for Wednesday, where are they getting this 12 inches for the projected snowfall on the map?

I just hope there isn't a lot of rain and freezing rain. That would be the worst.

New Mexico and Texas seeing snow and ice from this.

I Just realized that the winds are going to be constant near 20mph from the NorthEast Wednesday. During the potential Ice and afterwards. We all need to hope it sleets or snows and not freezing rain falls. Get your candles ready.

If you don't mind Cam, how crappy will my commute from Trumbull to Danbury and back be tomorrow??

I'll be leaving Trumbull around 6:30, leaving Danbury around 9:15 or 9:45 depending whether or not I feel like stopping at the diner.

Take a look at the sounding for NYC here... Thats insane. Everything melts in atmosphere and then refreezes within a couple thousand feet up falling as ice on contact and heaavy.
