I would, but I already have tickets to see the Danbury Whalers that night. It seems like a really fun event!

It's an outdoor hockey game similar to the NHL's winter classic. It's going to be played at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. There's going to be 4 games that day a high school game 10-12, Army vs. AIC 1-3, Whalers vs. Bruins Alumni 4-5, and the CT Whale vs. the Providence Bruins at 7.

the fact hartford has a minor league team called "the whale" using all the old whaler gimmicks is like a wrestling company calling hulk hogan and asking if he would bust out the yellow & red while his entrance is I Am A Real American. Cmon... this Whale stuff is LAME.

So you think Whale stuff is lame but consider it is the hottest selling merchandise in the NHL right now. Not bad for a team tat hasn't been around in almost 15 years.
