Not even New Haven, which supposedly is more or less as sketchy/dangerous as Bridgeport, has made me feel uncomfortable walking around with thousands of dollars worth of camera gear in full display. I have actually gone back to New Haven a few times. One of these days I will post some of those photos in C-D.

Bridgeport is the only place I have gone to photograph and felt uneasy. I'm thinking of taking several helicopter tours over CT and take nice photos from there. That's the only way I'll photograph Bridgeport again.
I will mount a rifle on top of my jeep and we can go on a Bridgeport photograph safari. We will dress like crack heads and disguise your camera as a boom box, you know... to blend in with the indigenous population

Not all is bad. Black Rock, the North End, Beardsley Park and Treeland are all good areas. The worst neighborhoods are the East Side, the East End, the South End and the Hollow IMHO. Jay

Hopefully no one was killed.

Ar-15's are OK as long as you are over 21. Once you are over 21 you are mature enough and of course since it's 21 now to buy a gun, no one under 21 will be able to get their hands on a gun. Just like no 20 year old ever drinks a beer during freshman, sophomore, and junior level of college or when they come back with their leg blown off in war at 20! Before age 21, you don't know any better than to go in public places and gun people down!!!! It's quite normal for 18-20 year olds to not lack enough self control to go on a crazy kill rampage. Once you hit 21 then you know better than to go on a pre planned murder spree.

Heavy sarcasm here.

They should also make it harder to buy knives. Kill to two birds with one stone.
