Guess whose a trader?!
Yes! Everyone investing their money knows bad things can happen and takes the risk in order to hopefully see stock performance that beats the market average. My firm isn't large but we manage billions. Why? Because we perform well and our clients take the risk to work with us. It is unfathomable to me how people believe the investors managing their 401-k's and private funds are corrupt. As for the day trader losing his money and supposedly offing himself, it doesn't make sense that he'd call his wife about car problems first.

What a selfish man, he planned this whole bs. Calling his wife and saying he was having car trouble. He made a whole community worry and wasted a lot of resources looking for him.

I was thinking the opposite. How do you get that he lost all of his money from being spotted at a hotel halfway across the country? If he lost all their money, how would he be able to afford gas, car and hotel expenses?

Sounds to me like it's a personal issue between him and his wife - his job likely has nothing to do with it.

No mention of a woman, but he was found in Knoxville, Tn., and taken to a hospital for "evaluation". At least he was found safe and unharmed, and the family can get some comfort from that.

Police: Newtown Man Found in Knoxville - Monroe, CT Patch

A Newtown man who was reported missing two weeks ago was found in Knoxville, TN on Monday and taken to a local hospital for an evaluation, police said.
