Some of my kids went there. They really enjoyed it, but it's expensive, crowded, and the supervision is a little casual. I've heard that from countless other parents, too. I wouldn't send a really young child there unless they were a good swimmer.

josh1r, it may be far for you, but I had a really good experience when I was a kid (granted, that was almost 20 years ago) at the Greenknoll Y Summer Camp in Brookfield.

I went to Camp Teepee 30 years ago. I really enjoyed it! Was a great camp then. My cousin sends his son (age 8) there now. Parents and child are satisfied. My cousin does complain about the price.

My son went to TeePee last summer and he did not like it at all....he is SO not a neat freak but complained everyday about the dirty locker rooms and pool. On a positive note, he alsoattended camps at the Audobon Ctr and loved it there....We used Milford and Fairfield...

Yeah, I'd also give a thumbs up for the Milford Audobon.

I can't believe Camp Teepee is still around. Thought by now it would have been sold off for housing or something. My friend went there probably like 50 years ago. I only went for a day trip a few times.
