I like NY teams over Boston however I don't care for either town's hockey teams. The closest connection I feel to any hockey teams are the Avalanche since my brother lives in Colorado and the Sabres as I went to school in Western, NY.

Otherwise I dream for the day the Whalers return.

So the B's winning the cup isn't anything in CT like when the Sox, Pats, or C's, won?
Not much media coverage in the CT Post, Courant, or WTNH?

I know the neighborhood is rough, but if you want a team in any Ct city, its a given that it will be a rough area. I do think the parking should have been built directly adjacent to the park, not even having a street to cross, even if the ballpark had to be configured differently. Outside of UConn, Ct has never supported sports well. Nighthawks did better, but not as well as they should have most years. West Haven bb same story. Whalers did not get much support, and arena was not up to normal standards of pros.
