Hello, my family are considering renting in either Rocky Hill or Windsor. Priorities are safe areas, good preschool, goood shopping and restarants. I'll also be commuting to dtown Hartford. Any advice?

Both are fine. I would prefer Rocky Hill though. It has better rated schools. I also think the commute to downtown is a little better but not much. Jay

Vote for Rocky Hill. The schools are better, the area is nicer, and the commute isn't as bad.

Rocky Hill wins in all categories. Only edge Windsor has it that it's closer to the airport (BDL). If your flying 1 or 2 times a week that might be valuable to you otherwise go for Rocky Hill.

Rocky Hill is the better choice. I lived there for 9 years.

Part of my temporary assignment up there 2 summer ago involved the Rocky Hill school district and while I didn't get to see it during the main school year, the schools are great! Windsor's a nice town, but the schools in Rocky Hill are better.
