Will it actually be built? Seems a bit pie-in-the-sky.

Along with similar proposed developments in Bridgeport, New Haven, Brookfield, Hartford, Norwalk, etc.. Just proposals. It's pretty ambitious, perhaps a scaled down version will actually get built. Looks nice though.

Holy crap. That is a serious project for the town of Windsor and the metro Hartford area in general. I probably won't want any part of it though, as I'm sure it will attract numerous pretentious yuppies. It also looks really congested. No thanks.

Alot of these types of projects are starting to pick up at least in NJ and the Lower Hudson Valley... Theres a massive project underway in Harrison,NJ , and a few other Railway towns and cities and there selling out fast....

It is a serious project for Windsor but the location is good and I think it has a good chance to get built since the Day Hill Road area is booming. There are already other similar projects like this that are successful like Blue Back Square in West Hartford and Harborpointe in Stamford. Plans for others are well along like Fairfield Metro Center. When the economy gets better you will see more of this type of development. Jay
