Default No wonder there's so many accidents

People driving are total buffoons.

This evening on 91 north of Hartford, I was driving in the left lane, and someone in the middle lane merged over, and almost hit me. Not only did the guy not look when he was going to merge, he had on his right turn signal
Getting off route 8 about an hour later, the person behind me just blew through the flashing red lights at the bottom of the exit ramp. Like really, where do you possible need to be at 11:45 PM on a Friday where you can't stop for 2 seconds??

Unbelievable. Thought I could go from Norwalk to Westport on the Merrit smoothly being its 12:15pm!

Merrit was closed.

So we all had to take Route7 South. I thought I'd get off Exit 2 and take some back roads. Apparently population played a factor in spending 10 minutes just being on the Exit 2 ramp.

Its midday! Is everyone off today? Sick.

A 7 minute drive took 40 minutes! Neighboring towns.

95 looks awful right now. This is one of those 'one hour to go from Stamford to Norwalk' days.

Being held hostage on 95 (and 15) is one of the few reasons I loathe southwestern Connecticut. I've sat in traffic for far too many hours for me to believe the quality of life is decent.

As many of you may have read my past posts, I commute to Westchester ,NY from Orange daily. I have had pleasant driving since the end of December. No traffic jams at night(Stamford,Westport Northbound Merritt) or in the morning at the dreaded Southbound Exit 48-44 area on the Merritt. I also know that this all ends at the end of April right through to the summer. Happens every year. The traffic gets heavy during that time and I know I will be right back on here cursing. Lol. I hate traffic but I sure dont regret moving to CT from NY one bit.........

Yeah commute has been clear sailing lately. It'll get heavy in April and May and subside in June. Then get heavy again in September.

At least they'll be done with the big Merritt construction project soon.
