My friends and I were just talking about this yesterday... Mama Roux's (in Cromwell, I believe,) was a cajun-style diner that was always packed with people from Wesleyan--and from what I remember, people from all over.
Does anyone know the story behind the restaurant's closure..?
There was a thread on this a couple years ago. They were poorly managed and went out of business. Even if a restaurant is packed, it does not mean it is making money. Jay
I really liked that place for breakfast... And you're right, Jay, about a restaurant being popular not necessarily equating with it making money-- that place had a line out the door almost every time I went!! It must've been really poorly managed.

It was making money. It's just where the money actually went (aka not bills).
