Actually, I've lived in both. I was very excited come back east. CT is overall more sophisticated, CT has better public schools, CT has better mass transit, I could go on...

The only thing I miss about CA is the weather.

I currently live in both.

They each have pros and cons.

I don't feel compelled at this time to list them all though. And they've mostly already been gone over ad nauseum. The original post of this thread provides nothing of value to the forum, so I'm not sure what the OP was trying to get from it.

I am moving the other way, CT to CA. If nothing else, the weather should be a relief.

Actually i dont like anything from the west...any where between Maine to DC is good for me.

I would not put small size area like Connecticut to California, if the whole northest was a state it would make California look like nothing lol

Yes, California is so much better with its over-crowding, earthquakes, wildfires, smog and large number of shallow self-centered people (yes, I am generalizing but the OP is too). The OP is really talking to the wrong people here.
