Good Sunday Morning to all.

What elevation in Connecticut do you reside in? Use the poll to answer.

If you're not sure, use this map..Zoom in all the way to find your spot, click on it, then put the cursor over the balloon.
Elevation Finder

Or use Google Earth: http://www.google.com/earth/index.html

Use the poll for where you live not what a majority around you is (post below to give details).

If you're from another state please post below and choose "another state" option above.

I'm in a unique situation, I am in a valley. My house is 490 feet but next door is 500 feet. It rises dramatically up the hill to over 600 feet, so on the poll I clicked 500-999 since I am so close to a higher elevation. Winter driving in my neighborhood is most unpleasant, cars get stuck or go off the road all the time in snow and ice. I get all the snow that my neighbors get.

Cool... I'm more around 150 feet, but then some few blocks away go up to over 200 to 300 feet... Connecticut is very hilly everywhere lol

Same here... 2 miles south of me is 30', 2 miles north of me is 450'. (a lot of locations will be like that) I edited the poll details.

Just use where you live not nearby. But andthentherewere3 is ok since his neighbors is 10 feet higher at 500. lol :-)

That site is not totally accurate. I used Delorme's Topo software which is dead on and concurs with the town, it's got my elevation off by a few hundred feet.

ATTW3, I totally get what you are saying. It can be raining in DT Manchester around Exit 3, and it turns to slush getting closer to my house and I might have 3 inches of snow in my yard when I get home. LOL
