I am a mom to a 13mos old little girl and I am expecting another baby in March. My husband and I are relocating to the area from Colorado next week. I am wondering if there are any mom's groups in the Bristol area?? It doesn't need to be anything formal or structured, but I would love to meet other mom's, both for play dates and mom's nights out.

You can look on meetup.com for local groups but I do know of one in Bristol and Cheshire, if you are interested on specifics send me a direct message.

Go to Panera bread. It overflows with mommies, you can find someone to socialize with.

There is a MOMS club in Southington, which also includes Bristol. Here's the link.

By the way, we love our pediatrician, Dr. Friedman, in that area. 860-621-5500. We also like CCOG (Central Connecticut OBGYN) - all women doctors and midwives, and they're right on the Bristol/Southington line. Welcome to Bristol!
