If it's a big studio, that's a really really nice building.

Stylo: I am really looking forward to renting a 1 bedroom, I will check it out but I am afraid I won't sacrifice that :S and $1700 is too much for 1BR

Sure, there are other nice apartment buildings too. It's just 360 has a nice gym, pool, it's brand new, really nice apartments, next to State Street train station, good parking, downtown's only full grocery store on the main level, good/safe location, etc. Might be worth giving up a little space.

Ok so I do have a couple of more apartments I went looking in New haven and nearby, what do you think of these:

510 main street in east haven, is that area safe? is near by the hospital but not as pricey as downtown and not as far as Hamden, the apartments look nice. 510 Main Apartments East Haven, CT

Broadmoor in 676 Mix avenue in Hamden. Broadmoor Apartments in Hamden, CT 06514 - Home Page

Cambridge apartments in 32 high street

The liberty in 152 Temple Street

Thank you!

East Haven is not near the hospital. If you're going to go that far you might as well include Branford and Milford in your searches. Milford would be a better car commute (or train) since the hospital is on the west side of NH.

I agree. Same goes for Hamden. The High Street and Temple locations are fine. They would be close to the hospital as well as everything downtown. Jay
