Looks like the economy is finally recovering thanks to the bold leadership of Barack Obama.

Yeah Milford!!! I love this town. Been here 12 years, saw the run up on real estate and the down turn but in Milford prices have stabilized or maybe gone down a little but not much compared to other towns. We have a decent tax base which helps and I reason it has to do with the larger Middle Class and even upper class here as well.

I never thought of Milford as having a large upper class population.

Like you said, Large? I'm not sure, but Any town has an upper class "population" ... how many is another story. .

I doubt low or middle income can afford this in Milford.

Exactly right. Upper-middle can, though.

Upper-class is Conyers Farm in Greenwich. Not a 5 BR house in Milford.

Well I meant upper class as in the shoreline areas of Milford. Here is my view in the summer

Yeah, I think you have to keep in perspective that Milford has more shoreline than any other town in the state. All of that direct waterfront is not cheap, and very few of those homes are under $1MM. There are several hundred homes over a million in town. If you can afford that, you are more than upper-middle class IMO.

Greenwich is beyond upper class. Ultra class?

S2000 - I think you live down the street from me.
