I'm guessing another Florida route focus similar to HPN.

I can imagine a flight to another large biotech hub as well. My sleeper pick is Atlanta. Either way, this is great news for New Haven - very much a proud resident.

Actor and Bridgeport native Michael Ian White has announced he is opening a “mini major studio” in New Haven. It sounds ambitious but hopefully it will be successful. Jay

Awesome. Too bad IKEA is there and they couldn’t make the grounds look green and nice, but glad they saved the building.

I live near Boca Raton, FL and have seen the IBM headquarters building architecture. Initially I thought it was odd and unfitting - now that I read it’s the same architect as this building, it makes complete sense. Very cool.

I don't personally care for the brutalism style, but I'd definitely like to see what they do inside. But as Kid said too bad about the huge swath of pavement that covers the area around it.

I hope they can do something cool making the open area between the upper and lower portions into aa usable outdoor space which the article implied.

That is fantastic. Hope it follows through. With Georgia doing more production than LA, there’s no reason we can’t get some of the action with generous tax incentives.

Anyone remember this?

What it really comes down to are tax credits, and whether they are capped or not. GA is virtually uncapped, which means it’s Hollywood’s go-to. I know NJ and NY cap tax credits, so even though there have been letters to try and woo production, they’ve gone unanswered. I’m not too sure about CT.

Dunno, anyone know?

If capped, that would be something Lamont should look at changing. Production is a huge boon to the economy.
