I just wanted to compliement to posters on this CT thread. So helpful and civil most of the time. Man, the NY (particularly Long Island) boards are a nasty horror show. This is very helpful...as moving to CT was (and still may be) a very good option. I like most of LI, particularly Garden City (the most "CT" you can get on LI it seems), but CT is very attractive.

Thanks to all.

Yes, you have two GREAT moderators and many regulars that make the CT board stand-out as one of the best in C-D.

Thank you for the compliments. I do enjoy using my knowledge of Connecticut to help other people. It is kind of addicting.

I must compliment our other Moderator, Skytrekker, who has excellent knowledge of the State. I think we compliment each other. Also I think we have a LOT of great people on the Boards who are giving information about the towns they know. You are all great and I really think they make the difference. Again, thank you, Jay

I regularly surf around the other states and categories on C-D and after seeing all the hate and bitterness in other forums, it's refreshing to 'come back to CT.' Even when some disagree, it's always met with civility and respect.

Some of the western states are much less civil indeed-
we are to say the least 'civil' genteel and civilized here.

If I may brag about this forum.
