Speaking of luxury cars, the new McLaren dealership in Greenwich is almost complete!

For those of you wondering where exactly it's located, its on Putnam Ave, right next to the Ferrari and Maserati dealership and practically across the street from Aston Martin and Bentley. And no, this time I didn't see the $1 million Bugatti on display at the Bentley dealership.

Further down the street are the usual Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, and other dealerships.

Near Greenwich Ave you can even see a Rolls Royce dealership with a very cool antique car on display. Its on the same street as the movie theater (sorry, forgot the name).

Ah yes, typical Fairfield County. LOL

PS. While this post was written in jest, let me clarify that all the dealerships mentioned here are real.

Leasing higher end cars can be cheaper than you'd expect. This is due to the high residual values they tend to have (the value at the end of the lease). Plus carmakers like BMW and Mercedes will subsidize the leases through low interest rates.

Antonio: mclaren is part of miller motorcars. Not a separate dealership. Miller includes the Ferrari, Maserati, rolls, Bentley, Aston and mclaren franchises.

There are lots of states where BMWs aren't the thing to have.

Yes, but they are building a new showroom next to the Maserati/Ferrari dealership on Putnam Ave. That's what I meant.

I think there are suppose to be just 10 McLaren dealerships in the whole USA, obviously only in the wealthiest areas.

There's really no difference driving a 4 year old BMW with 75K on the odometer vs a 2 year old Japanese car with 25K on the odometer, if the price of the Vehicle is about the same.

Some people like the image of driving with a luxury badge and buy second hand used. So, seeing luxury cars around don't always tell the whole story.

I work in hartford and drive through it sometimes, you see some of the low income residents driving 10+ year old BMW's, Mercedes, and Lexus all the time.

I have, twice. Once in Scarsdale and once in Greenwich.

Granted, the time in Scarsdale was a car show.
