I'm doing a internship at Pfizer from mid-Sept to the end of the year. I'm looking for short term leasing apts to stay. The only ones I've found now are corporate housings (furnished apts) which are way too expensive (~$1600/month) for me. Are there any cheaper housing options? Does any apts offer short term unfurnished studios ~700/month? Thanks!

Default Morton House and Niantic Motel

The Morton House in Niantic rents efficiencies by the month. I think they are around $800,00 monthly. Niantic Hotel (if a little desperate) rents rooms by the week for $250.00. Crocker House in New London offers rooms by week or maybe month. I'm looking too, and that's what I've found so far.

Good Luck.

Diana

stay far away from the niantic motel far far away that place is run down and dummpy me and my husband stayed there once we were going to the casino and wanted to not drive all the way home so we decided to get a room for the night everything near the casino was booked and this was the only place somewhat close.

very run down the hallways smell nasty and when you touch like the doors railings and such your hands start to smell just like the hallways the rooms are outdated pool had a dirty dipper floating in it. rugs needed replacement, not even a deep clean could help it we had no fitted sheets on our bed it was a flat sheet there was dust on the headboard on the lamp shade, we had a sliding door as a window and behind the massive thick curtain was rust on the window green mold on the shower head it was nasty they claimed they remodeled the place but it looked like nothing was done they also have an attached restaurant that is closed and is listed on the website as being remodeled but the last time i was in that area the restaurant was still closed and this was on going for the last few years.
