stratford vs seymour?

depends on what you want. If you like beaches and shore life stratford. If you want more suburban small town feel, Seymour. More potential in stratford I think though. 95 can get you places out side of the area and route 8 can do the same for you in seymour.

Seymour is in the "All American Valley" region of the state with lots of small towns. They are generally cheaper to live in. Derby, Ansonia, naugatuck, beacon falls to name a few are close. They all have the small town feel. Some people love that, I don't personally but there are lots of hunting/camping grounds and at night you can actually see the stars etc etc. Its probably not as rural as I make it out, but being from the city it is relatively rural and quiet out there.

Stratford gives you options of the shore such as Milford, new haven and Bridgeport. Def a more fast pace lifestyle(which isnt saying much though). If you like the beach this is for you. Nightlife is definetely larger in this area and you are closer to major shopping retailers. Stratford is really safe as well as Milford.

out of curiousity have you thought of North Bridgeport and the North End of Bridgeport?(two different norths lol) Bridgeport def has its bad eggs but there are some great areas near Trumbull. The north part of Madison ave. comes to mind in particular has lots of condos and apartments that may fits your needs and meet that range you might want.

There are lots of camping grounds in the Valley?? It's all suburban and, in many areas, urban.
